Built through a powerful partnership between the Winterset Rotary Club, the City of Winterset, and generous community donors, the All-Inclusive Playground is a $1 million project designed for kids of all abilities to play, grow, and connect. What began as a vision in 2020 now stands as a vibrant symbol of inclusivity, generosity, and community spirit in the heart of Winterset City Park.

Hold Our Youth Tight

Hold Our Youth Tight was born from tragedy but has grown into a powerful force for healing, hope, and community. Through annual fundraising events, scholarships, school snack programs, playground projects, and support for families facing infant loss, the organization turns loss into lasting impact—bringing comfort, joy, and opportunity to children and families across Madison County.

The Iowa Quilt Museum

The Iowa Quilt Museum showcases the artistry of American quilting with rotating exhibits featuring vintage, modern, and world-class works. Located in a beautifully restored historic building on Winterset’s town square, it’s the perfect stop surrounded by shopping, dining, and iconic attractions like the Covered Bridges and John Wayne Birthplace.
